The President and Council are sad to report that on Thursday 9th February 2012 William 'Bill' Shelton passed away suddenly at his home in Bailiff Bridge. Bill had served the association for many years as our Honorary Secretary, President and as a hard working member of the Council. We extend our condolences to his daughter Diane and the family at this very sad time.

Diane has intimated that Bill's friends from the Leeds Association of Engineers will be welcome to attend the funeral and reception. The funeral will take place on Friday 24th February 2012 at 12.00 hours at the Moravian Church, Chapel Fold, Lower Wyke, Bradford BD12 9AE. The funeral tea following will be held at The Clubhouse, Cleckheaton Golf Club, 483 Bradford Road, Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire BD19 6BU.
